Candidate Eligibility Details
- Applicants must have a full time B.E., B.Tech or B.Sc Engineering degree from an AICTE recognized institution.
- Civil Engineering applicants must hold a degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- Electrical Engineering candidates can apply with degrees in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Power Systems or High Voltage Engineering.
- Mechanical Engineering applicants should hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Thermal Engineering or Mechanical Automation.
- Minimum qualifying marks required in the engineering degree is 60 percent or equivalent CGPA.
- Candidates who completed AMIE (enrolled up to 31 May 2013) with required marks are also eligible.
- Maximum age limit is 30 years at the time of application.
- Jammu and Kashmir domiciled candidates from 1980 to 1989 receive 5 years relaxation
- Ex-servicemen relaxation will follow Government of India rules
Salary Package and Benefits for Engineers
Selected applicants will undergo training before being placed in the company. NHPC offers a competitive salary structure along with multiple allowances and benefits. The Pay Scale will be ₹50,000 – 3% – ₹1,60,000 under E-2 grade, the Training Period will be of 1 year, Probation Period will be of 1 year after training completion and estimated annual cost to company: ₹15 to ₹16 lakh and additional benefits will include dearness allowance, house rent allowance, cafeteria allowance, performance related pay, medical facilities for employees, provident fund and pension schemes.
