Educational Qualification
- Applicants must have passed Matriculation (Class 10th) Examination with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from a board recognized by the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
- Applicants must have completed a three-year Diploma course from an AICTE-recognized Polytechnic Institute with minimum 50% marks in aggregate in any of the following disciplines :
- Engineering Branch Trades: Marine Engineering & Systems, Mechanical, Production/Automobile, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Repair and Maintenance, Power Plant Engineering, Industrial/Production, Maintenance, Machine, Manufacturing/Manufacturing Technology, Mechatronics, Metallurgy, Instrumentation, Electronics Instrumentation and Control Engineering.
- Electrical Branch Trades: Electrical, Electronics & Communication, Instrumentation Technology, Electronics, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics Instrumentation and Control Engineering .

Agniveer (Apprentice) 01/2027 Batch: Candidates must be born between 1st December 2004 and 31st May 2009 (both dates inclusive) .

Indian Navy Agniveer Apprentice Selection Process 2026
The selection process for the apprentice recruitment of Indian Navy Agniveer 2026 includes stage I (INET 2/2026) that is computer based written examination conducted online. then Stage 2 – Physical Fitness Test (PFT) in which selected applicants must qualify in the PFT which includes 1.6 Km run, squats, push-ups, and sit-ups. stage 3 which is written examination in which applicants who clear the PFT will appear for the Stage II written examination at INS Chilka then stage 4 which is recruitment medical examination in which applicants who qualify the Stage II written exam will undergo a thorough medical examination as per Indian Navy standards. And final merit list will be prepared based on performance in all stages. Final selection is subject to medical fitness and merit position .
